Welcome to my blog! My name is John Stivers. In my blog, I am sharing my experience and learnings in Aquaponics. I am a hobbyist at the moment aiming to build a complete organic system in the purest possible aquaponic environment. And from that, create a fully self-sufficient system and then share its produce and learnings with everyone; hence my slogan: OFFA, which stands for: ”Organic Food For All”.

Hey John
You have a nice site. I have been looking at a lot of sites and plan to build my own system but I am not an engineering type and have trouble understanding what the use of the valve flushing mechanism rather than just running some water through all the time. Do you know any sites with an actual diagram and instructions for a home system? Thanks!

Just want to ask, if its safe to eat those veggies and herbs. Since theyre nourished by ornamental fishes and their artificial food.
